Emma Photoshoot

Well, I thought my previous shoot would be the last before my wife gave birth to our first baby. As things go, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to do a shoot with Emma.  She has had no modeling experience before but has a fantastic natural look. I had various ideas in mind that I wanted to try out and Emma was up for giving them a go. Within the time we had available, all went well and she was very patient and looks awesome in the photos. It was great fun and together we managed to get some great images of her.

Shalini & Glen – Rock the Dress Photoshoot

A first for me this one. Some friends recently got married in Santorini, Greece and on their return we had a post-wedding photoshoot! This is often called a ‘Trash the Dress’ or ‘Rock the Dress’ shoot as it gives the bride another chance to don their wedding dress and let their hair down. Despite the name the dress is not often ‘trashed’ but gives an opportunity to take more cool photos of the dress in a more relaxed environment.

Shalini and Glen both look superb and very stylish. Full respect to both for walking along the River Thames in their full wedding gear with lots of people staring! They are an amazing couple and it was a very fun shoot, I wish them all the best for the future.

Paul & Annabel Shoot

I had the opportunity to photography a friend with his daughter the other day in the park and it was great fun. The shoot happened at Dulwich Park and it was a blazingly hot day! Annabel is a very cute girl and it is was amazing seeing Paul with her. He is such a natural dad and photographing them at play was a great privilege and a beautiful sight to see. Certainly the star of the day was Annabel, sorry Paul!

Jenny & Richard Engagement Shoot

I had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with Jenny and Richard recently. Jenny was recently engaged to Richard and they certainly make for a lovely couple. The venue was chosen and ended up happening at Fulham Palace in West London. It was a place I had never heard of and it was perfect. The weather was incredible, a beautiful day. the sun was out, and it was so hot! The shoot itself lasted about 2 hours and I must say that both Jenny and Richard did a great job as both were out the night before (Richard only having had a few hours sleep!).

Lucie Photoshoot

After a slight lull in the photography area due to family events, I’ve managed to get back into things and done another photoshoot with a friend. This time it was with Lucie who was really up for doing a shoot even though she has never modelled before. We decided upon an urban theme since we were both in the London Bridge area. Apart from being moved on the one time at More London (due to security concerns), we were uninterrupted and explored that area before walking along the South Bank up to Waterloo.

The weather was fabulous and Lucie looked fantastic. She wore a really cool jacket with jeans which I knew would look brilliant. Despite the tourists taking a passing interest, she was a natural and managed to ignore them to get into some lovely natural poses. What made my job a whole lot easier was her openess to try out some of my ideas experimenting with natural light (only the 3rd picture down was a little fill-in flash used). Cheers Lucie, a great shoot!
